1NudgeOpen

Biscuit can only use paws (clue 2), and his “Woof” is true. So Biscuit is innocent. Three suspects left.

2CloserOpen

Test Aunt Lina as the liar: then Mrs. Park wasn’t in the kitchen, so who stirred with the wooden spoon? Then test Mrs. Park: Lina’s statement would put Park in the kitchen, but the culprit was on the porch.

3AnswerAsks twice

Yes, show me

Uncle Ray (porch, fork). Biscuit can only use paws (2), and his “Woof” is true, so he can’t be the liar: Biscuit is innocent. If Aunt Lina were the culprit, honest Ray would be in the dining room or garden, Mrs. Park would not be in the kitchen, so the kitchen would go to Biscuit, who can’t hold a wooden spoon (4). Impossible. If Mrs. Park were the culprit, honest Lina says Park was in the kitchen, but the culprit was on the porch. Impossible. So Uncle Ray lied: he was on the porch with the fork. Park was in the kitchen with the spoon, Lina (sticky fingers) was in the dining room, and Biscuit (banned from the tablecloth, 3) was in the garden.
